Great replacement for the one you just shattered! I knocked my original glass blender jar off the counter and it shattered into a million pieces, so I needed an replacement. I researched replacement glass jars on Oster’s website and spoke with one of their customer service people to figure out which one would work with my blender, since they had a ton of different ones on their site. I have a newer Oster blender with a glass jar just like this one and an old Oster with a plastic jar.. The blades are identical on the two so I would use my plastic jar when the glass one was dirty in the dishwasher.. Through a crazy incident, the plastic blender jar ended up with melted candle wax on it, which seemed to melt right into the plastic, making it unusable.. I removed the blade and threw the jar out..
