DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM This blender is just awful. I have owned a few Osters and this one is not up to snuff. There is texture on the inside of the glass so it’s a bit hard to get clean. It has a bad pour – I always have to have a paper towel handy or I end up w/ a bunch of product running down the glass and into the well or on the counter. AND the most frustrating is that unless the smoothie is really, and I do mean really thin the top 2/3rds of the smoothie will not mix. I mix, then open the lid, stir, replace the…
Was nice until I tried the food processor. Alright well, I’ve had this for about 6 months so far. The blender is great for smoothies but you can definitely smell the motor working. The blades in it are still sharp after this time which is great. I love how the blender is made from glass instead of plastic. The food processor, however, is a death trap. I used it once, and that’s all I ever will be able to do. It broke after one use. The lock tabs exploded off of it. The blade fused into the lid, which I’m unsure if it’s supposed to. Not…
Very sturdy This blender is very well-made. I still have my original Oster blender which is over 30 years old. I wanted to get a new one for appearances since the old one was an outdated color. There’s a big difference when your blender has a glass jar like this one. The plastic jars are terribly flimsy and damage easily. This glass jar is very durable, although it may be heavy for some people to handle. The blender has a lot of speed settings and the motor is very powerful. I trust the Oster brand…
