Panasonic Microwave Oven, Stainless Steel Countertop/Built-In Cyclonic Wave with Inverter Technology and Genius Sensor, 2.2 Cu. Ft, 1250W, NN-SN97JS (Silver)
When it comes to everything you expect in a microwave, nothing compares with the defrosting, cooking and reheating capability of the Panasonic NN-SN97JS Countertop/Built-In Cyclonic Wave Microwave Oven with Inverter Technology and Genius Sensor. At every temperature level, Cyclonic Wave circulates heat in precision, ultra-efficient 3D waves for easier, more versatile food preparation–even with denser, more complex food textures. This exceptional 1250-Watt, 2.2-cubic-foot capacity stainless steel microwave with 16.5-inch turntable also includes patented Inverter Technology which, unlike traditional microwaves that rely on pulse-on, pulse-off power at lower temperatures, delivers a constant stream of cooking power at every temperature for more evenly cooked meals – edges to centers – every time. With the touch of the Genius Sensor cooking button, this microwave takes guesswork out of creating a great meal by automatically setting power levels and adjusting cooking or defrosting time for added time-saving convenience. The sensor measures the amount of steam produced during cooking and signals the microprocessor to calculate the remaining cooking time at the appropriate power level. A selection of 20 auto cook options enable you to quickly prepare your favorite foods, such as pizza, popcorn, pasta, soup, oatmeal and other dishes. This Panasonic microwave oven externally measures 14″ x 23 7/8″ x 19 7/16″ (H x W x D).

Quick and evenly cooked food, with an enormous cooking space. User interface could be better. For 20 or so years, I’ve had a 1000w Kenmore microwave in the kitchen. My experience with this 1250w Panasonic over the past few weeks has been enjoyable. There’s no question that this microwave has the additional power and therefore provides more rapid cooking times. Panasonic’s 2.2 cubic foot design is their largest sized countertop model, and the extra space is welcome, especially when cooking for larger families. One thing that we all quickly noticed is that the interior light, which is…
Big Bang For The Microwave Buck This is an extremely nice microwave, despite some of the company’s dubious advertising claims. I have to laugh at the entire advertising slogan about having “3-D waves”. I hate to be a party pooper, but there is no such thing as a 2-D microwave. This is just techno-babble that is meant to sound impressive, but has no real meaning. On to the less ethereal properties of this microwave… As many other reviewers have pointed out, this thing is HUGE. Perhaps I am not as overwhelmed by…
Panasonic Makes The Best Microwave On The Market – My First Hand Experience From 8 Years Of Use I have a smaller version of the Panasonic Inverter Microwave (Model SN778S), which I purchased in 2010, which also has 1250 watts of power, a 15″ turntable, and with basically all of the same features as this new SN97JS. I absolutely love the Panasonic since it has functioned flawlessly for over 8 years, and shows absolutely no signs of giving out. The SN778S was the largest interior cavity, countertop unit that I could find at the time, which is what prompted that purchase in 2010, because we…
