It failed after 2 months, not in the way that most rice cookers start failing, i.e cooking, but no longer keeping warm, cycle not completing, etc. No, this piece of junk just died. No indicator lights, no warming, no cooking, NOTHING. As if the circuit board just crapped out. Fine, we returned that unit to the Depot, and had to order one from Amazon…

The pot fits nicely into the old pot A little smaller than the older version. The pot fits nicely into the old pot. Overall dimensions are smaller by a lot though so it’s more space efficient. The big reason why it doesn’t get 5 stars is the pot coating. The old coating that Proctor Silex used was a lot better. so now we can’t simply switch pans like we used to I ordered the rice cooker/warmer that is shown in the picture. But they shipped me another model; which seems to be a newer model of the one I ordered.
