I’m a contractor and didn’t need the instructions but for a homeowner they should have a template for the wall, where to install the outlet, etc. As far as the unit itself, you won’t be disappointed, very well made, six speeds, one and two are very quiet. Just use your own screws into a stud or backing board, don’t hang it on sheetrock like they suggest…
