Goopy and similar to very old, very thick nail polish, I realized it would require 2 coats to cover the tines of my dishwasher rack. This Rerack Dishwasher Rack Repair – White 630076 by Performix is at best a cover-up that does not cover up very well. To work for me, it would have needed to be a rust preventative rubberized coating that worked in one coat. It didn’t and barely covered the area the first coat, and the rust on the wire, goes under the existing rubber coating, so to make it work, you would need to buff off the existing rust and even the bubbled area under the existing rubber.
