We needed replacement for our Old Sharp – LOVE THIS ONE!!! We had our old Sharp forEVER but when it was time to replace it we had to find one. THIS was almost like the one we had and we love it. We ONLY had one issue that was different from our previous Sharp (my husband and I are horrible about reading manuals, we prefer to just “figure it out as we go along”). Very disappointed and cannot recommend it=see EDIT I have the same problem as some other reviewers. This microwave is only a couple months old. If we use it for more than 4 or 5 minutes it overheats and shuts down. Tried to make BLT’s for 3 people today, using the microwave for the bacon. It took over half an hour because the microwave kept shutting down. This microwave is in the same spot as every other microwave we’ve had. It’s a Microwave. UPDATE: It just blew up today 9/18/17! 18 months of light use. Replaced a 14 yo Sharp R-305HW with this one. I don’t “cook” w/ a microwave as much as I reheat. So far so good… Quieter and I went up a bit from 1.0 to this. For people who say the numbers are too light and hard to read… Turn the lights on these are fine. Some nice new features I didn’t have before… Preset times etc. Basic but nice… No complaints here.As for shipping… It arrived fast and intact.
