Performance outstanding- Durability not so much I have been very happy with the performance of this rice steamer. I really like having the stainless steel pot instead of the non-stick. Sometimes when cooking smaller amounts (2 cups uncooked) the bottom of the rice will brown and stick to the pot, but it really wasn’t a big deal and not hard to clean after soaking. You can do better We have had 2 of this rice cooker for the last 3 years until we switched recently. No matter what rice we cooked, it never tasted great. We could never leave the rice in the warm setting, because it would develop a crust (burned rice). It was so awful that we learned to immediately unplug the rice cooker as soon as it is cooked.
