Very easy to install Fit our seven-year-old Whirlpool Duet Sport perfectly. Very easy to install. It now comes with a thicker o-ring in the box and you do need to replace it; we tried to be lazy, installed it as it came and it leaked. Took it back out, switched out the o-ring, and it works like a charm. One note if you are not sure your drain pump is broken, take a flathead and pop off the end where the ‘propeller’ is. There was a whole bunch of smelly thick sludge inside…we never tried the old pump again after…
Kenmore HE2 front loading washer Just installed my new drain motor in my Kenmore HE2 front loading washer. I too followed suggestions and used the old o-ring gasket because it simply looked better. I wanted to test the drain motor so I set the washer for Drain & Spin. The washer showed an error. I wash kinda upset. I was getting an “F28” message with the Rinse/Spin/Clothes Clean lights illuminated. I forgot to activate the grounding switch on the lower left of the washer. In the picture I used blue painters tape…
Fit and worked like original. Fit my Kenmore 110.47512600 washer perfectly. It came with two wire adapters to allow the plug to be connected to the new pump, which has a different connector. It also had two o rings on it, one over another. I removed them and installed the, .115″ thick one from the old pump (as some reviewers advised), but it was too thick to allow the twist lock fingers to engage. The two new o rings were .100″ and .950″ thick, and the .100″ one worked, with no leaks. I’ll have to check…
