While I liked this replacement and it was easy to install, the ice maker switch bar never seemed to be affected by the overflowing amount of ice being built up in the bin. Whirlpool Replacement Icemaker This was exactly the part I needed for my broken Whirlpool icemaker. This kit came with several different wiring harnesses and attachment clips to choose from, but in my case, I was able to unplug the old wiring harness and plug it directly into the new unit.
