Previous to owning this T-fal P45007, I owed two electric IP. My first IP became useless within a year of use, as did it’s replacement. I purchased my first T-fal after the first IP stopped working. I used the replacement IP less and less due to lost confidence in the IP and inconsistent results (sometimes it food would be half cooked after timer went off).
