I believe some of the other reviewers did not read the manual correctly.This is an amazingly priced commercial style range top that kicks out some serious BTUs and looks great.There is a safety thermocouple that requires you to hold the control knob in for 1.5 seconds while it heats up. The purpose of this is to stop the flow of gas of the flame goes out due to overboil or something similar. You do not want to fill your kitchen at a rate of 18,000 BTUs of gas , which…
