The manual isn’t up to date. I read the manual completely before starting. The splash guard does not mount like instructed in the manual–It does not twist on like the bowl. It has four plastic guards that slip up over the housing. The bowl has to be continuously scraped. If addling flour be sure it’s on 1 or 2, not 3 until moistened or you will have a dust storm even with the splash cover on.
