This is the 5th time replacing this “sensitive” bi-metal fuse – it is a combination 10A fuse with a heat sensitive material (over 65 -85C?) temperature overage is not what causes this part to fail – it is 99% of the time current related. After measuring actual “inrush” current in heated wash or heated rinse (sani-rinse) cycles – my dishwasher read 1/2 second of over 10A – up to 10.6A for a fraction of a second, enough to “pop” this very sensitive part – reason I say…
