A Quality Belt, but It Is made Too Short. Runs Too Tight. Belt has a Grippy rubber compound. Belt spec is 89.5 inches. My belt measured 88.75 Inches a full 3/4″ short. That may not seem like much but the belt does not stretch. My GE brand DX4500EG0 electric dryer has a simple (cheap) belt tension system. I had to pull the tensioner to its limit to get this belt on. Belt runs so tight that it twists around after 4-5 revolutions. Now the ribbed side is UP and low friction on the drum. Take it apart and do it again. Same result with ribbed side UP. No…
