a slightly better button I bought an Insinkerator button switch, but I was very unimpressed with the button itself, which has stamped metal parts. When I depressed the Insinkerator button my finger sank into the button assembly, exposing the rather sharp inside edges of the decorative flange ring. It felt cheap. The Westbrass may not be any better constructed but because the button is tall, when it is fully depressed it is only flush with the flange ring. The inner edge of the ring is never exposed. not really as pictured I selected this button after searching a long time because the picture shows a button with an extra long shaft as compared to all the other buttons out there. To my disappointment, the button I received was just as short as all the others. The reason I needed a long shaft is because the shaft is going through 3cm of granite and a granite sink; and the other buttons, as well as those from the box stores, were just not long enough.
