Whirlpool 4396013RB Dura Vent Installer Kit for Dryers
The great thing about this item is that its venting system allows the wall vent to protrude up to 2-1/2-Inch without having to be trimmed. The kit includes an extension collar that allows it to have a universal 4-1/2-Inch clearance. This installer kit does a wonderful job of utilizing loop systems and Dura safe patented snap-lock fittings. Packaging includes 4-foot vent section that attaches to a close elbow, one 4-foot vent section that attaches to a wall offset and an extension collar. Total length of this item is eight feet. Keep in mind that additional vents can be snapped between sections for longer runs.

Not as pictured I bought this item because I thought it looked like the perfect solution for my new dryer install. It comes in two pieces, one you attach to the back of the dryer and the other you attach to the wall vent. Then you slide the dryer into place and connect the two pieces together. I attached the 90 degree elbow to the back of the dryer and clamped it securely. Decent quality. Installed MUCH easier than expected. I ordered this based on the descriptions and pictures. Those have changed. Instead of 2, 4 foot sections you get only 2, 2 foot sections. They are thin rectangles instead of round tubing. This will not vent my dryer. It is too short and my outlet is on the wall beside the dryer. This will only work if the outlet is on the wall behind the dryer. What is shipped is just l a low profile periscope vent. The part number is correct but it is nothing like what is described or pictured for this…
