A good solution that takes some prep time to make work. Buy foil tape. I bought a replacement dryer and the vent did not line up with the existing exhaust. It was over by about 3 and 3/4 inches and up by about 1 and 1/2 inches. A vent hose would have put the dryer out about a foot, and the foil type of flexible hose kinked up and would have been a serious fire hazard. This was just what I needed. Because it is adjustable, it is not ready to go right out of the package. You do have to carefully measure, test, remeasure and test before you can seal up the edges with…
