Nice Upgrade To Old Disposal–Grinds Well and Is Quiet My Whirlpool 1/3hp GC1000XE finally died after 9 years of very heavy use. Very decent a budget disposal. It is very quiet, powerful and easy to install. Amazon’s everyday low price also allowed me to save $30 over the two large national home improvement hardware chains, which, coincidentally did not carry this brand in their brick-and-mortar stores anyway and would only offer it online. I only wish that this Whirlpool disposal used stainless components in it grinding chamber. I would have gladly paid a little more for the stainless improvement and don’t have to…
