This replacement part was about half the price of the part offered on Whirlpool’s website, and it arrived the day after I ordered it. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube, and it really was as easy to do as it looked. As others have said, the hardest part is putting the spring clamp back on the boot but even so, the whole thing took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. The only tools needed were a flathead screwdriver and Torx 20 screwdriver. I think locking pliers would have been…
