Dumb me. DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN! It takes at least a half hour to get up the the heat you set. Then once you put the food in, you have to keep an eye on the oven temperature. It can go up or down. To lower it you have to open the door for a while; to raise it you have to set it above the temp you actually want. You can’t bake anything sensitive in it, e..g. a souffle. For sensitive baking, I have to drive to my daughter’s house and use her oven. Don’t think the warranty can save you. It’s worthless. I’ve…
There is an undocumented feature on this over (and other Whirlpool others like it) called an energy saver I have the 27″ black version of this oven for about 2 years (bought elsewhere). I agree with what has been written in that the loud fan goes on and stays on until it cools down. I have also read about the failures of the control board when you run the self clean.
