Not Good for Real Small Items I was very disappointed in this dishwasher basket. I purchased it so I could wash my little plastic measuring spoons, some plastic beverage bottle caps, a gadget I use to score the thick skin or peel of fruits, like oranges and avocados, (this gadget is the size of a ring someone would wear), and any other very small items that need washing.Unfortunately, the gaps between the metal grid are way too large, and everything slips through to the bottom of the dishwasher!This…
Sturdy, but VERY tight latch (You can fix by bending it) Does the job just fine, seems very tough and sturdy. The only downside is that the part of the lid that serves as the latch is VERY tight, and it takes a lot of force to open it up, so much that you have to be careful not to injure your fingers when it finally pops loose.This can be rectified though by placing the container on a hard surface, and then leaning on the cage and bending it in a little bit, or you could try and bend the latch part outwards.
