Over the road truck driver’s dream! I was very skeptical at first. I was using coolers and ice or thermo electric coolers. Neither of which is practical. So I looked at Engel Coolers but they are very expensive usually around $1000. So I took a chance and ordered the Whynter. So far am very pleased! I drive a 2013 Freightliner Cascadia with a Thermo King Tripak APU. Also tractor has a 1800 watt inverter. Seems like some good engineering Just got this. .. 45 qt… – was packed well and as usual Amazon got it rolling out the door promptly. Plugged it in and it worked. Cooled from 80 degrees to 45 degrees in probably 15 minutes. The fan is not noisy and it doesn’t draw much power at all.
